Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Donations are Non-Refundable

Donations made to Jeevan Sahay Trust are voluntary contributions to a charitable cause and are generally non-refundable once the payment is successfully processed.

By completing a donation, you acknowledge that the funds will be used for the charitable purposes described on the campaign page.

2. Exceptions — When We Process Refunds

We will process a full refund in the following cases:

  • Double charge: If you were charged twice for the same transaction, we will refund the duplicate amount within 5–7 business days.
  • Payment failure with deduction: If your payment shows as failed on our platform but money was deducted from your account, it will be auto-reversed by Razorpay within 5–7 business days. Contact us if it is not reversed.
  • Technical error: If a verifiable technical error on our platform caused an unintended charge, we will process a full refund.

3. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, contact us within 48 hours of the transaction:

  • Email: support@jeevansahay.org
  • Include your Razorpay transaction ID and registered email
  • Describe the reason for the refund request

Refunds, when approved, are credited back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

4. Monthly Subscription Cancellation

Monthly giving subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your donor account. Cancellation will take effect from the next billing cycle. Already processed monthly donations are non-refundable.

5. Tax Receipt After Refund

If a refund is processed, the corresponding 80G receipt will be voided. Please do not use a voided receipt for tax filing purposes.
